Microsoft has revealed details nearly the upcoming version of Windows Server that will be launched in the second one-half of 2018 and come with back up for hybrid cloud functionality, improve support for containers, and integration of Linux workloads. Unveiled after Microsoft's usual three-year bound mail Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 will be priced higher than the previous version, Microsoft said in the weblog post.

Windows Server 2019 will be based on a new web framework, Project Honolulu, which was announced final year at the Ignite Conference. The latest version of Windows Server also bring improvements in terms of back up for Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) to improve the scalability and reliability of server applications.
